Well, if proof were ever needed of the need to shop around then this is it. Just got the second quote for the sealed glazing units that we intend to fit into the existing timber frames at the back of the house. To my surprise, it's 60 percent higher than the first and, oh dear, that's without the VAT. I might have considered this a reasonable amount to pay, had I not received the other quote first; compared with the uPVC quotes, it's still trivial. But, it's just too far a drift and was quite slow coming, so it's goodbye to them.
Ho hum, well I suppose I'd bet get over to the hospital for my customary lunchtime visit to Father.
